Bimeda were proud to launch Ectoflits, their new summer and winter Sheep dip, at the Charollais Sheep Society stand at the Ploughing Championships. Present at the launch were David O'Gorman, Treasurer and John Farrell, Vice Chairman, Irish Charollais Sheep Society. There was a lot of interest in this new product among Farmers present at the launch.

Ectoflits is an OP sheep dip with the following unique selling points; 60% w/w Diazinon active, 1:1500 dilution, for the prevention and control of lice, keds, blowfly strike and sheep scab, 35 day meat withhold, 3Ltr Can dips 500 sheep, cost effective, improved flock performance.
It is important to take care when dipping. You must rest the flock before dipping. Allow sheep time in the bath, not less than one minute for scab control. Do not dip sheep on a full stomach, when wet, heat stressed, thirsty, or suffering from wounds. Sheep may only be slaughtered for human consumption only after 35 days from last treatment. Ectoflits is not to be used on sheep that are being milked for human consumption.
This product should only be dispensed using an Ectoflits dispensing kit. Operators must wear suitable P.P.E.
